Practice begins Sunday for annual Easter Cantata
Rehearsal for the annual community Easter Cantata will begin Sunday, February 17, at 2:30 p. m. the Rossville Methodist Church, This year the choir will sing "Divine redeemer" at the Palm Sunday Cantata. Singers in the community are invited to join the choir.

Methodist Church may add organ
The Rossville Methodist Church is having a two week demonstration of a Hammond Electric Organ with the hope of adding it as a permanent part of the church. It will be used as part of Sunday's services. A two week campaign for funds will be started next week with a goal set for March 23 by the Official Board. Donations are invited from interested members and friends of the church.

Community Choir to sing Cantata in Methodist Church
The annual Palm Sunday Cantata will be presented this year in the Rossville Methodist Church instead of the High School auditorium as in previous years. It is being changed for the benefit of those who are unable to climb the steps at the high school.
The community choir will sing "The Divine Redeemer" from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on April 7th, Solo parts will be sung by choir members from several Rossville churches.

Methodists Set Christmas Events
The second annual tree-trimming party will be held December 8 at the Rossville Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m. A large native evergreen tree will be brought into the church for this event and members will gather for fellowship and trimming of the tree.
Tentative date of Dec-ember 22 was also set for the annual Sunday School Christmas program.
These were among the items of discussion at the monthly church board meeting Monday evening. Other discussion included the church's need for additional hymnals and chairs, the plans of the youth group for caroling, and the possibility of securing an electric chord organ for one of the Sunday School rooms.
