METHODIST CHURCH
Services at the regular hours next Sunday. At the morning hour, 11:00 the sermon topic is "Beginning the New Year With God."

Plans are going forward for the election of officers, trustees, stewards, a lay delegate and alternate to Conference, and for beginning a Standard Leadership class in a meeting at the church next Wednesday evening, at 7:30. All are welcome.

Regular services at West Union Sunday afternoon, and at Willard, Sunday evening. You are welcome. Wright M. Horton, Pastor

Mrs. Thora Young and sister Miss Veda Whitney are entertaining, today; the members of the Home builders' class of the Methodist church at their home northwest of Rossville.

Mrs. Sam Cottle and Mrs. Josephine Syring are entertaining the members of the Homebuilders' Class of the Methodist church today at the home of Mrs. Syring

Mrs. C. Pumphrey entertained the members of the Friendly Circle class of the Methodist church. Wednesday at an all-day meeting. A covered dish luncheon was served at noon and a devotional program followed by a business period and social hour at needle work completed the afternoon. Those present were Mrs. C. W. Vorhies, Mrs. A. A. Cless, Mrs T. H. Attebury, Mrs. T. L. Bouse, Mrs. John Stevens, Mrs. Ted Fields, Mrs. Grant Meade, Mrs. Rose Myers, Mrs. M. L. Whearty, Mrs. Irene Cleveland, Mrs. Pumphrey. Mrs. Anna Wilt and Mrs. Hoke of Manhattan were guests of the class.

Mrs. Ray Simmons and Mrs. Abe Patterson entertained the members of the Homebuilders' Class of the Methodist church last Thursday afternoon at the Patterson home. The time was spent socially. Refreshments were served. The members present were Mrs. A. F. Buchmeier and Betty, Mrs. C. R. Kimerer, Mrs. A. S. Parr, Mrs. Art Wallerstedt, Mrs. Dodge, Mrs. Thora Young, Miss Veda Whitney, Mrs. Ralph Page and Phyllis, Mrs. Herbert Syring, Mrs. Dan Landis, Mrs. Simmons and Mrs. Patterson.

Y. C. U. NOTES
The Y. C. U. services for Sunday, April 5, will be held at the Rossville M. E. church at 7 p. m. The leader for the evening will be Howard Perkins. Special music will be furnished by Geraldine Fawl. Come, give of what you have and the best will come back to you!

The Home Builders' class of the M. E. church held their annual Christmas party and gift exchange last Thursday, Dec. 17, at the home of Mrs. E. H. Gibson with Miss Grace White as assisting hostess. Those present were Mrs. Alice Belle Barney, Mrs. Lois McConnell, Mrs. Golda Cottle, Mrs. Thora Young, Mrs. Anna Kimerer,
Mrs. Josephine Syring, Mrs. Bigham, Miss Vida Whitney, Mrs. Beth Hartzell,
Mrs. Straw, Mrs. Louise Parr, Mrs. Belle Buchmeier, Mrs. Ora Landis, Mrs. Lena
Meade, Miss White and Mrs. Gibson. The children present were June
Hartzell, Betty Buchmeier, Donice Jean Cottle, Roberta Gibson, Wendell Lee Gibson and Junior McConnell.
