This building was constructed in 1907 for the Delta Delta Delta sorority and illustrated in the 1908 Souvenir. In 1910 the property was acquired by H. J. Allen, Merton J. Stickel, Charles Beeks, W. C. Markham, W. F. Allen and ? (sec)A. Harpster, trustees of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. The value of improvement increased to $8200 from $2500 two years earlier possiblt indicating a substantial enlargement. The property was recorded as the "Delta Tau Delta Frat" ( owners H. J. Allen et al) in 1914. Delta Tau Delta was established at Baker in 1903.

Description

Detached fraternity house, irregular plan with corner entrance, two-and-a-half stories, brick masonry and wood frame construction, main truncated hipped roof with gambrel bays. Two-story circular entrance porch, 1/1 double-hung windows, glazed entrance door, three interior brick chimneys. Decorative conical-roofed tower, curved dormer brackets and exposed joist ends, segmental brick arches first floor. Alterations--enclosed porch E side, modern siding second floor.
