This property was unimproved in 1908 when J. M. Morgan sold to John H. Cundiff. Construction of the existing building in 1913 followed the sale from Cundiff. The trustees of Delta Delta Delta sorority recorded in 1910. Delta Delta Delta was established at Baker University in 1895. The sorority was housed in the house at 619 9th from 1907-1910 (see B289). This house was remodeled and enlarged in 1940.

Description

Detached apartment building, rectangular with central entrance, two-and-a-half stories, wood frame and weatherboard construction, concrete foundation, main hipped roof. Front hipped porch on columns with second floor railing, two front bay windows, projecting side bay, glazed wooden entrance door, two hipped roof dormers each side and front central dormer. Ornamental pedimented gable front mock dormer. Modern masonry porch floor and steps.
