Shelter House Serves as Temporary Church
Since early in July, Mass has been celebrated in the shelter house in the city park of Rossville, and sometimes under a large tree in the church yard.
An entrance addition, new basement and extensive remodeling is being done on the present church building with many parish members volunteering their time and hard work.
Father Hasenkamp said that, hopefully, the construction would be far enough along to allow Mass to be held inside the building by October 1.
Paul Dultmeier, Silver Lake, who is in charge of construction said, “Depending on the weather, the church should be ready in one month to six weeks.”
