Rev and Mrs. G. C. Albin and sons Nathan and Clark, of Topeka, drove out to Rossville, Sunday afternoon for a farewell visit to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Navarre, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Navarre, Mr. and Mrs. John Shenk and the E. D. Hartzell family, with whom they remained overnight. They left Topeka, Monday to make their home in Hollywood, Calif. Nathan the elder son will soon enter upon a career in Hollywood in the sound projection department of a studio under direction of their technical men. He will continue his high school work and later enter college to pursue studies along this line. During his high school and college work he receives a daily stipend of around 62c an hour during his work hours around the studio. This wonderful opportunity come to the boy when he answered an advertisement from a movie field man who wanted five young men for this work. Out of over 175 applicants Nathan was put through a rigid I Q on the subject and won a chance to go to Hollywood. Rossville friends of the Albin family who knew the boys when Rev. Albin was Methodist minister here, are delighted to know of their good fortune.

Assignment of pastors for the Kansas Conference of the Methodist church were announced Monday.
Rev. James Reed, pastor of the local church the past year, will have the charge at Muscotah-Arrington.
Rev. W. C. Hartford and his family arrived in Rossville today and will occupy the parsonage on Spruce street.
