The Ladies Aid Society of the Methodist church will have Aprons and various kinds of food for sale at the City Hall, Saturday, June 15.
ELECTION DAY DINNER AND SUPPER. November 1, 1928
The ladies of the Methodist church will serve their annual dinner and supper to the public on Election Day November 6th. Everybody cordially welcome.
Christmas Bazaar in connection.
Place Wilt Building.
Prices Adults, 50c; Children (6 to 12) 25c; Children under 6, no charge.
A Majestic Radio is to be in the hall to furnish music and to receive the election returns.
Spend the afternoon and evening with us.

TO ASSIST THE METHODIST LADIES AID
The Dramatic group of the Good Government Club, of Topeka, will give a play, "The Village Lyceum" at Bond Hall, Friday evening, August 17th, at 8 o'clock- This play is given under the auspices of the Ladies Aid of the Rossville Methodist church.
It has been given a number of times in Topeka, with great success and an evening of fun and entertainment is assured. Those participating and the characters they represent are:
Miss Emmaline Alexander, school teacher and lately elected president of the lyceum Mrs J. M. Brier.......
Jerusha Sunshine, the secretary, Mrs. Mabel C. Foltz,
Virginia, the belle of the village, Mrs. Emily Dutt,
Reuben Doolittle, the beau of the belle, Mrs.. Olaf Ekberg
Ebenezer Hill, the father of Virginia, Mrs. F. J. Hill
Sara, mother of Virginia, Mrs. R. L. Miller
Rachel Drew....Mrs. B. H. Sanneman
Helen Green ...Mrs. F. W. Heere
Paul Black Mrs. C. N. Houghton
(Friends of Virginia) Pane Cowel, the village dressmaker, Mrs. Nettie Shore
Betsy Bobbit, Mrs. G. F. Rees
Johnnie, her meddlesome son, Mrs. J. F. Doane
Mollie Darling, another singer, Mrs. H. W. Bomgardner
Amy Black, sister to Paul, and the accompanist, Mrs. James Black
The admission will be 25 cents for adults and 10 cents for children under 12.
