In 1887 the J.W. Scott residence was recorded on this property (21 acres) next to the old Catholic mission. J. Frank Smiley was the owner in 1921.

Farm residence, I-house with rear wing, shed and gable rear addition, two stories, wood frame and weatherboard construction, rubble stone foundation, main side gable roof. Front hipped porch and rear entrance porch on turned posts, 2/2 double-hung wooden windows, glazed wooden entrance door, interior brick end chimneys. Ornamental corner board capitals, window head moldings, cornice returns. Concrete foundation SW addition.
