WSCS MEETS FOR CHRISTMAS PARTY
WSCS met Thursday, December 19, at 1:30 at the home of Mrs. John Stevens. Her home was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
President Mildred Page opened the meeting reading a Christmas poem.
Mrs. Irene Parr gave the lesson. You Are My Witness; Mrs. Jim Conley reviewed the book, Angel Who Refused to Sing; Mrs. Irene Parr gave a review of the book, The Children's Christmas Carols. Diane and Joyce Swenson sang two Christmas songs.
Then came Santa unloading gifts for: Myrtle Lillard, Stella Henderson, Pauine [sic Pauline] Swenson, Vina McCoid, Edith Ward, Roxy Nadeau, Bess Conley, Vida Whitney, Mildred Page and three girls, Mildred Irwin, Georgia Lambert, Esther Stickerod, Velma Wehmeier, Ruth Gresser, Ethelyn Ferguson, Comelia Stevens, Irene Parr, Grace Hartzell, Helen Wilt, Minnie Ellis, Lila Bahner, Mae Moyer, Mrs. Lane and children, Minnie Givens, Irene Campbell, Daisy Crow. (If Santa missed anyone it's just one of his mistakes.)
The hostesses served lovely refreshments of cake and coffee.
