In 1912 a wood frame dwelling facing Indiana Street was recorded at this location. By 1927 a brick dwelling facing Seventh Street was recorded. No improvements were noted c. 1920 when Mrs. M. E. Bruner sold the property to Lorena Cannon. It appears that the existing house was completed in 1926 or 1927. Ed M. Huey the property owner, was assessed in 1927 for improvements valued at $1400.

Detached residence, rectangle with side entrance and projecting center bay N, one story with basement, brick masonry in running bond, ashlar stone foundation, gable roof. Ell porchon brick piers with vent window, 3/1 double-hung wooden windows, glazed wooden entrance door with sidelights, exterior chimney NE and interior chimney NW, shed roof dormer S. Decorative elements-cornice returns, gable end shingling.
