As late as 1941, lots M and N on High Street belonged to Mary Ives Hartley. Improvements on lot M were valued at $2510. It is not clear whether the assessment applied ti the adjacent Ives-Hartley lumberyard or to this commercial building. Physical features suggest a construction date c. 1930 but the building may be modern.

Detached commercial building, rectangle with doublefront, one story, six front bays, brick masonry construction, concrete foundation, front sidegable roof with rear flat roof and parapet. Display and transom windows, recessed central entrances with glazed wooden doors. Tudor revival detailing, entrance dormers with mock timber ornament.
