Reportedly, this residence was constructed between 1865 and 1870. Since professor Homer Ebright purchased the house in 1910, it has remained in the same family.

Description

Detached residence, irregular plan with side entrance and rear ell entrance, one-and-a-half stories, three front and side bays, coursed smooth-cut tooled sandstone block construction, mansard roof with gable dormers. Hipped porch with round corner on columns, open railing, paired 1/1 double-hung wooden windows first floor, two glazed wooden entrance doors, two brick exterior chimneys, rear wood frame and weatherboard sleeping porch SW. Foundation parged.
