It appears that there was a building on this property as early as 1892 when the assessed value was $230.00. This remained constant until Barbara Denning (1900) sold to Florence Stewart (1902). Then the value increased from $230.00 to $400.00 in 1902 indicating construction which replaced or incorporated the earlier structure.

Detached residence, square plan with gable wings, side entrance, one story wood frame construction with weatherboard and shingle sheathing, coursed rough-cut stone foundation, main pyramidal roof. Hipped front porch with semicircular bay on columns, open railing, 1/1 double-hung wooden windows bay window SW and front attic window, glazed wooden entrance door, interior brick chimney. Ornamental cornice returns, friezeboard, and head molding over entrance. Modern rear shed addition.
