Corner commercial block in row, rectangle with corner entrance, brick and stone masonry, flat roof and parapet. Original façade covered with brick and stucco panels, modern frame awning.
A wood frame hotel occupied this lot from 1893 to 1905. That structure was moved to the rear of tract when the Baldwin State Bank was built in 1906. J> W> Spurgeon, prominent local builder, was the contractor and J. W. Williams was the stone mason. A Romanesque style commercial block was illustrated in the 1908 Souvenir. The building was substantially altered in 1978.
