A building owned by J.V. Walker was standing on this lot as early as 1886. W.F. Osborn acquired the property from John Brady in 1890. Osborn, a Doctor, arrived in Baldwin in 1889. The existing residence was cronstructed in 1904 to replace a house destroyed by fire. The first horse barn was constructed in the 1880s. A milking barn and feeding barn were built in the early twentieth century. Since the new "horse barn" was completed in 1926it was not needed for horses and has been used as a hay barn.
