The Kuhn Cannery, which was located on the east side of Loring Rd. and Santa Fe St., was owned and operated by M. E. Kuhn and his son Reece Kuhn.. Prior to moving to Bonner Springs, Kansas the Kuhn family owned and operated a canning company in Pattonsburg, Missouri.
